  1. Prepare the surface: make sure your surfaces are clean and smooth for best results.<\/li>\n
  2. Prepare the tiles:Tiles should be soaked for appropriate time before installation.<\/li>\n
  3. Plan the layout: Find the center of your wall and use a carpenter’s level to mark vertical and horizontal lines<\/li>\n
  4. Mix thoroughly: Mix the appropriate thin set for your project to a toothpaste consistency<\/li>\n
  5. Apply mortar: First apply mortar using the flat of the trowel to promote substrate contact.<\/li>\n
  6. Set the tiles: Press tile into mortar with a slight twisting motion ,check often for uniform lines.<\/li>\n
  7. Spacers: It is advisable to use tile spacers to ensure accurate spacing<\/li>\n
  8. Tap down tile: To prevent any voids or air packets under the tile,carefully tap the top of each tile\u00a0 to ensure complete contact with mortar.<\/li>\n
  9. Cure: Allow the tile to cure\u00a0 for 24 hrs without disturbance<\/li>\n
  10. Grout: After the tiles have all been installed and left for 24 hrs,it’s time to grout the tiles!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
